Handstand Hangout 2024
In March 2024, we kicked off the very first Handstand Hangout Berlin, and what a weekend it turned out to be! With 86 handstand lovers joining us from across Europe—including Germany, The Netherlands, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, and Poland—the energy, inspiration, and community spirit were simply unmatched.
Community & Connection
The heart of the weekend was the community. Seeing handstand enthusiasts of all levels train together, exchange tips, and cheer each other on created an unforgettable vibe of connection and growth.
A huge thank you to our talented teachers for their knowledge and passion, to our incredible photographers for capturing the magic of the weekend, and to every participant for bringing this event to life. We’re beyond excited for what’s to come and can’t wait to see you at the next Handstand Hangout.

Workshop Highlights
Over two jam-packed days, participants explored a wide range of handstand topics through 11 incredible workshops led by some of the best teachers in the field:
Foundations & Stability:
Max taught us about achieving “The Perfect Line”, while Sam guided us on Finding Stability in Handstands. Pepo enriched the experience with Playing with Shoulders / Building Stability on Two Arms.
Mobility & Anatomy:
Lukas shared his expertise on Mobility for Handstands and Shoulder Anatomy for Handstands, and Chamina inspired us with Straddles & Splits, helping participants improve flexibility and control.
Advanced Shapes & Progressions:
Lukas Adolph gave a nice Intro to One Arm WS, Sam took things further with Weight Shifts to One Arm and Intro to Canes.
Jules led an insightful session on Presses and Press Progressions, and Flag-Queen Anna impressed with her session on Flags. At the end Merle gave a WS on One Arm Shapes for the crazy ones.
Between workshops, open sessions allowed everyone to practice, connect, and share their love for handstands in a supportive, energetic atmosphere.
